ON HOW EVERYTHING FINDS ITS PLACE (OR SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT HAPPINESS)

There is a place in Mexico where the water and the air
dance together until they end up upside down.
Laguna de bacalar, December 2017

Tonight is dark and it almost feels like nature is lost in a labyrinthine dream full of glitter and fluorescent monsters. But there is no mystery in the air, nor fear, because everything has found its place tonight. This night it's happiness and joy, not ecstatic ones, nor violent or energetic. It's the happiness of the soul, deep and unbearable. I am amazed by it and I hardly find a way to translate my thoughts into a system of letters. What do words know about feelings?
I may be a firefly now, I see myself glowing in the dark night, and from the sky looking over the city I see my friends through their roofs and they are glowing too, lost in some inaccessible dreams. The secret is clear and illuminated.

Everything finds its place when you have a good connection with time, as time was set by humans as the measurement of our lives. It is relative and abstract but we can't escape from it. Don't treat it like an enemy, because it's going to rule over you. Flow with it, find the rhythm and keep up. You have the lead.

Everything finds its place when you have dreams. Holding hands with curiosity, you should never stop learning or believe you have learned enough. The world, the worlds, the universes all around us are so full of resources of happiness they make you doubt why the word enough was even invented!
You have to work on your purposes, but stay firm in your mind because there is always a chance that you won't succeed.

Everything, though, finds its place when you acknowledge randomness and casualty. It may seem like an oxymoron, because honestly how rational is it, that everything finds its place when there is no rule? But there are simply infinite things you don't have control on.
Just leave them and focus on the things you can influence.

Everything finds its place when you wake up and you feel your chakra burning inside you! You have to bring the sparkle all around. In the morning you are the Athenians Philippides and you have been told you need to bring a help request all the way to Sparta. You have to be keen to rush 100 miles, to bring your energy where it's mostly needed. If you are so lucky to have it in your heart, share it, spread it as far as your sight can go.

Everything finds its place when you know your roots and they are strong into you. You didn't come from a hole in the ground, you grew like a tree and even if you are able to develop your brunches the colour and size you like, you cannot change your mainstay.

Everything finds its place when there is gratitude and hospitality. People are like a magic wardrobe. If you open the doors you may find your favourite fruit, that orange juicy one you used to eat as kid. Or maybe you find a music, an oriental one coming from a lost village in the desert. Often you will find scary monsters and they will try to bring you down. Then, hopefully, they will see what is inside you, on your shelves and if it is beautiful and magic they will be carried away.

Everything finds its place when you know yourself, and this is maybe the hardest of all. How do I know myself? I try things, all of them and then I choose. Timshel is the key to knowing yourself, it is the key to your wardrobe. Having to choose is difficult, energy requiring and challenging but it is our only ray for freedom.

Everything finds its place when you see your friends finding theirs. I want to thank you, for helping me find mine. Nobody ever resist somebody who has found its spot, because that is what real beauty is about. The energy is overwhelming and it is the most special warmth you will ever feel.

Everything finds its place absurdly when it is moving. Life is a challenge and a struggle, never settle on one thing and keep moving. Reaching one goal should never be the end. Just imagine you are a jaguar running like crazy to reach that fast and slim gazelle. Sometimes you may wish to stop and take a break, because the burden is heavy to carry but don't, whatever is alive moves.

Now, tonight everything found a place. I don't know about tomorrow, but I will try to make it work with constancy and determination. I may sound too dreamy, or too positive or just crazy. I tell you something, whatever was in the sky, in the air, in the ground tonight it was happiness and I saw it with my eyes.
